The Taghta from Glenmorangie is a ‘crowd-sourced’ whisky, in that many of its characteristics were decided by the Cask Masters, Glenmorangie’s loyal fans – an exciting concept which has resulted in this limited edition expression. The Taghta is a non-chill filtered single malt which has received a finishing period in ex-Manzanilla casks. It has been bottled at 46% ABV and given a rather apt title, as “Taghta”, is Scottish Gaelic for “Chosen”.
